Born in Budapest, in 1939, Szabados’s father was a physician while his mother was a singer and singing teacher. His musical talents manifested themselves at an early age. As well  as completing  the necessary music studies by private education, he took his degree as doctor of medicine, respecting his father’s wishes.
The development of Szabados’ career was seriously hindered by the extremely closed, ideologically restricted intellectual and artistic life in Hungary under Communist control.  In common with the rest of Europe, in Hungary it was the effect of jazz, which exercised an important influence in the direction of the evolution of live musicality. It was this, which finally set free his improvisational ability.
After several attempts, Szabados tried to come out of his isolation. In 1972, he won the Grand Prix of the Jazz Competition in San Sebastian in the Free-Jazz category.  In Hungary this caused him as much trouble as enjoyment.  Slowly though he was able to give more concerts, especially in universities. He founded a musical workshop, where he introduced his method and theory of improvised contemporary music. As a result of this workshop he established the improvising orchestra MAKUZ. This groundbreaking LP “The Wedding”, released in 1974, quickly became a classic with its unique blend of Hungarian music, jazz improvisation and contemporary composed music.
 
The record is in MINT condition and the cover is M-. A collector item!

GRADING:

Grading is VISUAL; occasional play-grading will be noted.Slight warps that do not affect the sound and factory cut-out hole or corner cut are generally accepted.Please keep that in mind BEFORE buying anything and you agree to respect my terms when you place this order.

M : Mint. As new,looks unplayed or sealed.

NM : Near Mint.

Record = is as good as new and clear. May have some minor paper scuffs or/and tiny hairlines.   

Cover = as new with maybe the slightest signs of wear on corners, edges, spine or surface.

EX : Excellent.

Record =  Still very clear with more hairlines or/and some small scuffs.

Cover = there is a bit wear on corners, edges and surface, slight wrinkle, minor writing on back. 

VG+ : Very Good+.               

Record =  clear but you can see some light scratches and/or some small scuffs across the surface.   

Cover = is still looking good, but there is some wear on corners & edges,slight creasing. There are split in the seams, wear or/and small sticker damage on the surfacewithout any major defects.

VG : Very Good.

Record = you can see many noticeable scratches or scuffs, some may cause distracting surface noise. 

Cover = there is real wear on corners, edges and spine.There are splits in the seams, serious surface-wear,  price sticker damage, small tears or duct tape seam repairs, other not too significant  flaws or damage.

G : Good.

When I put a record on Ebay with this grade then it well be a very rare one. In that case I will describe the imperfections on this record in detail.

Any claims of dissatisfaction will not be met with refunds unless item is returned in the condition it was mailed in with all original shipping materials. All shipping costs are not refundable and shipping both ways MUST be paid for by buyer. No exceptions!
Outside the EU all packages must be returned as "returned goods". In case of failure to do so, the Hungarian customs duty (15-20%) and VAT (27%) will be payable by the sender, the value of which will be deducted from the price of the product!
