eBay 2022: Buyer responsible for the all Customs fees. Any duties incurred to any country will be the sole responsibility of the buyer and or customs relations in buyer’s country will be the buyer’s responsibility. Check your responsibilities for imports, VAT or customs fee. Some countries and jurisdictions require eBay to collect import tax from the buyer when they pay for their order. Consignments where eBay does not collect taxes may require buyers to pay additional import fees (e.g. VAT and duties) as part of clearing their parcel through customs, or when they receive their order. Buyers are responsible for paying import charges. The import charges are usually due once the package arrives in the destination country. In certain countries, and in line with local legislation, eBay will collect import taxes from buyers.
