There are two sized rivets used on a Vespa with an oval shaped cover on the steering lock, 3mm and 4mm, please make sure you order the correct type

Steering lock covers are used to cover the steering lock. They serve as a nice chrome cover or protect the key shaft from dirt or other foreign objects. Unless otherwise specified, they are supplied with the required rivet.

They are available in various designs:

diamond-shaped: These steering lock covers were fitted on the first Smallframe models and the Super/Sprint/GL/GT models. They are silver and without marking.
teardrop-shaped: With NEIMAN lettering on the sport models Vespa 50 SR/SS/90 SS and the Vespa 160 GS 1°/180 SS. A 3mm rivet was used on these models.
On the later smallframe and largeframe models the diameter of the rivet then increases to 4mm.
The steering lock covers come partly in silver matt or chromed surfaces. In a kit with rivet and washer or individually.
