Drag Racing magazine was a full-size monthly publication with a primary focus on drag racing.  The first issue was published in February, 1964 by Lou Kimzey and his Kimtex Corporation. The magazine was re-titled in 1970 as Drag Racing USA, and there was a change in ownership.  It continued under the new title until June, 1975.

Modern Rod, Drag Racing and Drag Strip titles were published by companies owned by Lou Kimzey Sr.

Drag Racing had six years of publisher provided net paid circulation data. Monthly print volumes ranged from 13,800 to 17,000.

A total of 57 issues were published from February, 1964 through December, 1969
