Will be plug and play for cars that come with (non-SOS button) auto-dimming.

For cars with SOS or no auto dimming, you need to re-pin the connector and remove some pins. These mirrors only need switched (+) power to pin #3 and ground (-) to pin #10 in order for auto-dimming, compass, and homelink to work.

• Doesn't not fit convertible models (Since your remote antenna is located in the old mirror).
• Doesn't not fit cars with OEM SOS Mirrors or cars with non-auto dim unless the electrical connector is re-pinned, otherwise, the autodimming screen will get burned and oil will come-out of it. Thus, it will be ruined.
• The Homelink garage door opener would mostly pair with older garage system from the era of early 2000s to around 2015. New garage systems have more advanced encryption and may require a repeater device installed to the garage in order for the mirror Homelink to pair.
