Very rare new pair of vintage Converse from the late 1960s/early 1970s. They have a very rare star pattern on the front around the toes. The label on the back is black with - CONVERSE ATHLETIC FOOTWEAR MADE IN USA and a single star - on it. The insoles are vintage late 60s/early 70s Converse COMFORT ARCH CUSHION HEEL MADE IN U.S.A. These shoes may be (I think are) the 'Coach' version of Chuck Taylor All Stars.
Size is marked 3 on the bottom. The insole measures just over 9 inches front of toe to back of heel. That would make them a women's 5-5.5-6 depending on how tight someone wears their shoes. A women's 5 would be safe. The shoe strings are original. These have never been laced. They were found in a closet full of vintage clothes in a greater Cincinnati area home. The soles have a great star pattern as well as having dimples in the center of each star. The eyelets are absolutely mint and shiny.

Please note - Our home has pets including two German shepherds, a lhasa apso, four cats and 30 fishes. The fishes and lhasa apso do not shed. The rest of our zoo does. All articles of clothing are stored in lidded bins in our inventory area where pets cannot get to them. Clothing is inspected for and cleaned of any hair before shipment. We may, however, miss some hair somewhere on the piece of clothing. If allergic to cats or dogs, it would be advisable to launder the clothing before wearing or to shop elsewhere.
