This adapter Leica M-NEX helicoid Macro Ring,this adapter not only infinity focus, but also shorten the closest focusing distance of the lens, which is equivalent to adding a focus barrel to Leica lens, it adds micro function to the lens also.

The helicoid stroke is 5mm(the length from 10mm to 15mm).just the 5mm, it shorten the closest focusing distance of the lens. Within the lens of the original closest focusing distance range, this adapter will not move, only the lens focus ring work.
After reaching the original closest focusing distance, you can rotate the adapter ring to reducing focusing distance.
