Our premium elk antler dog chew is an organic and naturally delightful treat or chew toy for your dog to enjoy that you can feel good about giving them!

Our elk antler dog chews are made from premium quality, grade A antlers which mean that they are the highest quality available. The antlers are shed naturally by wild elk and harvested right here in the USA. The shed antlers are then cut to size and sharp edges are sanded down to make them suitable for your pet.

Why choose elk antler dog chews?
Elk antlers are generally more dense than deer antlers, meaning they have a thicker inner marrow layer. Dogs love the marrow and will be motivated to chew through the hard outer layer to get to the tasty inside. This makes elk antler chews a great option for dogs who are moderate power chewers rather than aggressive chewers. Elk antler chews may not last as long as tougher options for enthusiastic chewers, but are more likely to entertain moderate chewers who may lose interest in tougher chews (such as deer antler chews).

Benefits of antler dog chews:
*The natural flavor and texture of antlers keeps dogs engaged and is an excellent option for dogs who love to chew
Keep your dog entertained for hours or direct a dog with destructive or anxious tendencies to chew on an appropriate outlet. Depending on your dog's chewing style, an antler may last for days, weeks, or even months. Choose an appropriate size and type of antler based on your dogs weight, breed, and chewing habits.

*Eco-friendly, cruelty-free
Male elk grow and shed their antlers annually and antler hunters gather the antlers without any harm to the animal. We sell only top-quality antlers that are gathered from the wild, not from farm-raised elk. Unlike other treats such as bones, rawhide, or bully sticks, antler dog chews do not come from dead animals.

*Organic with NO artificial ingredients and NO additives
Unlike other dog chew toys made from plastic, fabric, or other man-made materials, antler dog chews are completely natural and digestible. We do not add any flavoring, preservatives, dyes, etc.

*Natural source of protein and minerals
Antlers are made up of nutrients such as calcium, phosphorus, and protein, which can be beneficial to your dog. Antlers are slowly ground down from chewing and the small bits are generally safe for dogs to consume. You should monitor your dog for any adverse reaction and ensure your dog does not break off or try to swallow any large chunk which could lead to blockage.

*Promotes dental health
When your dog gets to work on an antler, the chewing motion can help scrape away plaque and tartar buildup. Watch your dog's chewing behavior and remove the antler chew from a dog who bears down, as this could cause tooth damage.

*Odor free, stain free
Antler dog chews are a great treat that can be consumed without creating smell or mess

Are antler dog chews safe?
Antler dog chews are generally safe for dogs to chew and consume but you should always monitor your dog while using them and you should keep in mind a few precautions. Do not give hard antler chews to dogs with dental problems such as tooth decay or puppies who still have their deciduous teeth ("puppy teeth" / "baby teeth" / "milk teeth") and have not yet developed their permanent "adult" teeth. Such dogs should only be allowed soft toys or chews so as to prevent tooth damage or breakage. Also, remove antler pieces that could become a choking hazard for your dog or lead to intestinal blockage. Your dog should only consume small bits at a time. While the composition of antlers is generally safe for dogs, monitor your dog for any adverse reaction and do not allow your dog to consume an excessive amount at one time in case it does not agree with their system.

Please note that all antlers are unique and the antlers pictured in this listing are simply examples of what elk antler chews may look like. Therefore, the specific antler you receive may not look exactly like the ones pictured. Antlers will naturally vary in color, shape, and size but we will ensure that the antler you receive is AT LEAST to the minimum weight and length specifications detailed above for the size you order. If you prefer a particular section of the antler (such as base or tip) please message us and we will do our best to accommodate or let you know what is available.

CAUTION: As with any chew toy, always supervise your dog while using antler chews. Be sure to take away any pieces that may potentially pose a choking or digestive hazard. Monitor your dog for any adverse reaction. Remove the antler from your dog if they bear down on the antler as this could be harmful to their teeth. It is time to dispose and replace the antler chew once it is worn down to a small enough piece that your dog may attempt to swallow it. Not intended for human consumption.
