AUM/AUQ– Golf GTI, Leon Cupra/R, Audi A3/S3, Octavia VRS


The car will pull VERY hard compared to other Stage 1/2 maps, as the Torque Intervention functions (ARMD, amongst others) have been optimised, this is the same thing R-Tech uses for there "TIV" mapping. See "Torque Model Tuning" in the features section below.


The ECU will be sent the same day received using Royal Mail's 'Next day guaranteed, signed for special delivery with £250 value insurance.

The following features below are currently available:



FullPerformance Mapping


Stage1 = 210BHP+


Stage2 = 240BHP+


This is setup dependent, with the main factors being how well the system flows, and how much fuel is available, all fuelling upgrades like;injectors, fuel pressure regulators and fuel pumps will be mapped in to your specification.



"TorqueModel Tuning"


The torque model functions (ARMD, amongst others) have been optimised, this is the same thing R-Tech uses for their "TIV" mapping. Without this, the ECU constantly interferes with timing to soften the engines natural characteristics, alongside prioritising cabin comfort over raw performance. Once this function is tuned, it significantly increases the aggressiveness of the power delivery across the whole RPM range,whilst retaining good daily driving driveablilty.


"SoftCut "Launch Control


This is a non aggressive fuel-cut based rev limiter.



"HardCut" Launch Control (Anti-lag)


This is a more aggressive spark-cut based limiter that allows unburnt fuel to exit the combustion chambers to spool the turbo whilst limiting the RPM, bangs,pops and flames from the exhaust are a result from this function whilst used. Custom RPM



"NoLift Shift" (Anti-lag)


This keeps the turbo spooled between gear shifts in a similar manner to the "hard cut" limiter above, bangs,pops and flames between shifts. Custom RPM



"StandAlone Mode" (Conversions)


Full coding of the CAN network where airbags, traction control, vehicle speed sensors, instrument cluster are not present on the vehicle. I will turn off the function not just disable the DTC (error codes) like some do.



"Deletes"


All ECUs will be coded to the components on the car.

Quick note on fuelling


If you are unsure onthe age of your fuel pump I highly recommend that it is replaced, it is literally 'the heart' of your car. The APS 265 LPH is a great value choice.


Higher fuel availability increases power potential, and runs the injectors at a lower 'duty cycle' providing more "headroom" for increased safety against knock and detonation. When a 4 bar FPR is used you get the added benefit of better "atomization" (better mixing of the air/fuel) giving you increased power and economy.

"Stage 2 Recommendations"

An uprated Intercooler, healthy Fuel Pump, healthy Divertor Valve (forge 007, yellow spring is best), decent Tires and at least a 3" Downpipe and De-cat, all ran on Tesco Momentum 99 or Shell V-Power is recommended.


The ECU is 'Plug and Play' as it is 'Immo Off'
