5 ¼ by 7 3/4” in brown/black cloth over board hard cover with gilded title on the spine, 485 pages.

It is the classic biography of St Bernard of Clairvaux, the great Cistercian monk of 12th Century Christendom and one of the acknowledged Doctors of the Church.

Condition of the book graded Almost Fine; the text is fresh, clean and unmarked, a bit of cover wear, spine face very slightly sun faded- a collectible book in religious biography.
