This set of ornate brass candle sconces is very elegant. The candles are all adorned with bronze bobeches that point downwards. Each candle sconce is quite heavy and has an ornate sculpted center with flowers and a basket. They make a matching pair as the candle holders. The bobeches and candle holders screw off for cleaning. The brass has a gilt wash and the bobeches are nicely sculpted. These date to about 1940. Condition is very good, with some tarnish to the hanging hook on the back consistent with age.
