Rare and quality carved, famous novel bookends. If you are looking for a pair of decorative, practical and well crafted bookends then this rare pair could be perfect for you. The taller and slimmer figure obviously is Don Quixote. Here he is holding a sword and sitting on an antique chair, he is in excellent condition and beautifully carved. We don't know the meaning of the beheaded person in front of him, but we are certain that the collectors will. The heavier set gentleman on the left is of course Sancho Panza. He too is beautifully carved and color painted. This pair will make a great gift for yourself or for somebody else who is into reading or who sells or writes novels.  Maximum height x width x depth: 13.5 x 6.5 x 4 inches.
