Airplane was a weekly part-work magazine published by Orbis, starting in 1990. Each issue covered different aspects of aviation both civil and military, including Military Operations and an A-Z of Aircraft. It featured informative text and each issue was richly illustrated with both colour & b&w illustrations. Airplane aimed to be a comprehensive aircraft encyclopedia and included detailed three-view drawings, colour profiles and featured wonderful four-page fold-out action artwork of the world’s greatest aircraft.
