To get that extra depth of gloss 
polish when dry.
Use a car polish and buff by hand. 
Or a clear coat lacquer.
But make sure the paint is fully dry
as the lacquer contains aggressive solvents.
150ml will do 2 average calipers
300ml 4 large calipers.
You don't need a primer but
it will help the paint cover better
You will get 30% more coverage.

Suitable for all brake and engine parts 
wood plastic and all metal parts like radiators
Instructions.
Make sure all parts are clean and dry
brake cleaner/degreaser with a scuff pad, or hot water,
washing up liquid and a hard brush will be ok, just takes
a bit longer. Stir well and apply with light coats
Can be sprayed
Drying time depends on temperature but at 15c apply a second
coat after 30 minutes, handling time 1 hour, fully cured and ready
for assembling 24 hours.
Please use a primer on large areas like engine blocks.
This will help the paint cover better.
