Vintage ashtray depicting the "Covered Wagon" roadside attraction on the Old Lincoln Highway (US 30) , near Kearney Nebraska. Kearney was known as the "Midway City", midway between the two ends of the Lincoln Highway, San Francisco on the west and Boston on the East (Which was not entirely true, as the Highway did not extend all the way to Boston, but a little puffery is not unknown when trying to attract travelers.) inexplicably missing from the ashtray is the number 1743 bbetween the two cities, the number of miles Kearney is supposed to be between the two cities. Someone goofed when this one was made LOL

Ashtray measures about 6 1/4" in diameter, with three indentations for cigarettes. No maker's mark.

Condition: very nice condition, I see no issues.
