ANDREA GAIL 726
Andrea Gail, an uninspected commercial fishing vessel, departed Gloucester Harbor, Massachusetts, on September 20, 1991 with six crew members on board. The crew intended to go on a fishing trip for swordfish in the Grand Banks area of Newfoundland, Canada. The ship and six crew members remain missing and are presumed lost at sea in a great storm, called the "Perfect Storm" by one meteorologist and made famous by Sebastian Junger's book (the book was later made into a film of Hollywood). This model has a wooden hull.
