The pottery art of Ban Chiang can be divided into 3 eras
- Early earthenware, age 5,600–3,000 years, with rope pattern which is believed to be hemp There are also scratch marks. and has written shoulder color by found laying together with the skeleton Some of the leaves are used to contain the remains of children. And there are still burial traditions. by burying objects such as axes, spears, etc.
- Medieval pottery, aged 3,000–2,300 years. This is the era when it started to be painted red.
- Late pottery, aged 2,300–1,800 years, is the era with the most beautiful patterns. Baroque patterns reflect the peaceful social conditions. before becoming a polished red mud glaze.
