The Meinl Bahia Aluminum Surdo celebrates samba and reggae music with its thunderous deep aluminum shell. It is cut short and typically worn much lower than traditional surdos, on a belt. It delivers the full bass range and is light enough for extended play. The surdo is played with a felt beater (sold separately).
