This stunning opal showcases shades of pink, blue, orange, and yellow! The pendant features a lovely basket setting with four secure prongs. The inside of the bail is stamped “14K.” The setting measures about 11/16” in length, a little over 3/8” in width, and sits 5/16” high. Included is a 19” box chain, also stamped “14K”, with a spring ring clasp. Together both weigh 3 grams. The opal is in excellent condition, no chips or cracks.

Originally this opal belonged to my grandmother. It had been set into a ring. However, I felt the setting was so unattractive no one would like it (especially my wife), so I had the opal re-set as the pendant you now see. The opal is indeed vintage, but the setting is not.
