I have this rule packed in THE smallest way I can. Because it measures 20 inches the length of the box is 21 inches. The width is 2 inches to protect the rule and -1 inch thick. The eBay postal quote is $5.40 to $ 8.55, depending on the distance from Ct. I can't do anything about this and sorry the shipping is so high.
