Vintage Marx 1930s Stamped Steel Children's Dial Typewriter Antique USA, Works
This early toy dial typewriter by Louis Marx & Co. features lithograph "keys" and a dial for letter selection. When the selection pedal is pressed down, the rear wheel presses the letter against the platen roll. I do not know where the ink ribbon is supposed to be loaded (not included).
Good condition stamped metal typewriter with some scuffs and surface paint loss as shown in photos. Dial spins with a bit of stiffness, typing pedal works well, platen rolls using either end-knob even though the left knob is a bit floppy.
