A beautiful antique French mantle clock depicting a very detailed gilt bronzed spelter sculpture of a maiden sitting on a chair holding two birds, standing on an onyx clock with foliated front spelter feet, the front porcelain dial has flowers decorations and is signed at the bottom but not readable, the movement has chime and is marked at the back with number ‘’315’’ and seal of ''F. MARTIN - MÉDAILLE D'OR – PARIS - 1900'', in very good condition, some signs of wear to the patina of the sculpture, no breaks, no repairs, the clock has no pendulum and no key, the clock will need adjustment to work properly, made in France, circa 1900s
