This set of 6 very large glasses or goblets are heavy and very well made.
Each glass is engraved with a scene of rural life in Jersey from days gone by."Le Temps Passe"
Included is the original purchase receipt and the Certificate of Purchase.(see photographs),as you will see,the glasses were bought from the Jersey retailer 'E.J.Gallichan & Co.Ltd,Jersey,Channel Islands'., with the original set costing £220.
The certificate states : "British Heirlooms in Hand Made Crystal"
Limited Edition of 50 numbered pieces ,each individual piece in this set of six glasses are numbered 32 and are signed: Brierley,plus the initials of the retailer EJG.
The title of the set is marked to the foot on each glass "Le Temps Passe" and each glass is engraved with a different scene,as follows:
La Grand Tchethue.
Le Tchethibot a Lait.
Les Chours Jerriais.
La Vraicqu Sie...Au Ho.
L'Export Des Rouoyales Jerriaises.
A Etamper...Pouor Faithe Le Cidre.

Each of the goblets measures 7" tall,the foot has a diameter of 4" and the top is 3 3/4" in diameter.
Each goblet weighs approximately 20 ounces.(heavy in the hand!).
They have a bucket bowl,with a hollow ball knopped stem,and basal comb cutting.
These substantial goblets were made as a limited edition and they are very attractive , useful drinking glasses,which were made to celebrate scenes of Jersey life from days gone by.
All in great condition,without damage.
Each single boxed glass weighs just under 1 kilogram,so the set of six,weighs approximately 6kgs.
