Vintage Ron Lee Large “Saturday Night” Hobo Clown Sculpture Signed/ 24K Details/ Onyx Base.

This piece is part of a collection of Ron Lee clowns acquired form a client’s beautiful estate.

Each piece is sculpted, then preserved in casting materials. They are hand painted with chrome and gold detailing, then placed on a substantial piece of onyx.

This piece reminds me of Red Skelton and his iconic alter ego Freddie the Freeloader.

Here he sits in his 24K gilt tub, enjoying a stogie and washing his clothes at the same time.

He is signed and dated.

Excellent condition.

Measures 11” wide x 9 1/2”tall x 7”deep.
