Vintage Brass Chinese folding book end.  Stamped "Hong Kong" on the bottom.  Ornate floral pattern is engraved into the circular part.

As found - unpolished with old brass patina, scuffs, surface irregularities and spotting, but no corrosion or other damage noted.  Brown felt pads protect your surfaces. 

NOTE:  When unfolded it goes beyond 90 degrees as shown in pictures (a wood toothpick wedged under the hinge can make it stop at a more square angle).  With a little force it opens all the way flat for other uses such as a scroll topper.

Base measures approximately 4.75" by 3.5", the fancy part is 5.75" tall.  Weighs 11.9 oz.
