Ich biete hier eine Kopie des Stahlstiches "Incident in Cherry Valley ... the Fate of Jane Wells". Graviert wurde es von Thomas Phillibrown, und veröffentlicht von Martin, Johnson & Co in New York. Vermutlich war dieses Bild veröffentlicht in einem Lexikon des ausgehenden 19. Jahrhunderts, das kann ich aber nicht mit letzter Gewissheit sagen.

This is a copy of the steel engraving "Incident in Cherry Valley ... the Fate of Jane Wells". It was engraved by Thomas Phillibrown and then published by Martin, Johnson & Co in New York. This copy was probably published in an encyclopedia in the late 1800s, but that I can not say for sure.

Because of the old age the paper has darkened a bit and there are a few mold stains.
