These two oval steak plates or platters were made by Poole Pottery in the Desert Song pattern designed by Pat Summers, on the contour body shape. The printed mark was in use from 1970-1976, and the pattern was introduced in 1969.
Each platter is 28 cm (11 inches) long and 24 cm (9.25 inches) wide. The two together weigh 1.15 kilos before packaging.
The plates are in very good previously owned condition - there are no chips, cracks or crazing, and very light surface wear.
My packaging is always careful, and I use a mix of recycled, recyclable, biodegradable and new materials, so your order should arrive with you in the same condition it leaves me. Orders placed before 14:00 GMT or BST will be despatched the same (or at weekends the next) working day.
