This abstract elephant sculpture is very dynamic. The loose interpretation of the elephant in a dancing pose on one hind leg and ears flapping is both cheerful, endearing and organic. Made from what we believe is tailings of a bronze foundry, the metal is  dense and heavy and has an unpolished and unfinished aspect. The base is black hard stone and the piece is held with a post and screw. Condition is good, there is some play between the sculpture and the base, which can be tightened with the screw, but having it slightly loose allows you to turn the sculpture without turning the base. Weight is 13 lbs.
Measurements are: base 3 1/8" by 3 1/8" and overall height is 13 1/8".
