FULL CONDITION DETAILS: Pre-owned condition with minor cosmetic wear. It powers on and works. The battery may need to replace as it doesn't seem to much of a charge anymore. The main issue with the camera is the MiniDV door has stuck in the outward position and will not retract. Most likely it has simply come off its track so the mechanical mechanism cannot retract it. It makes a noise like it's trying to do it but then just reopens the tape slot (see video). I was able to get it to retract a couple times but then the problem resurfaced. The camera also can record onto an SD memory card so even with the tape part not working you could still use the camera. Likely SD recording is preferred anyway, but the tape slot still needs to be retracted. You may even be able to still record onto an SD card with it sticking out but that would be inconvenient. Note the strap attached to camera has wear and damage where pieces are flaking off as well. Other accessories have minor wear. SOLD AS IS FOR PARTS/REPAIR NO REFUNDS.
