This is a fine Canadian First World War Military Medal group awarded to a member of the Canadian Field Artillery that remains in excellent condition. It consists of the George V Military Medal, the 1914-15 Star, and the 1914-1918 War Medal. The rim of the Military Medal is impressed in the correct style with, ‘41806 Cpl. R.N. HICKSON, 2/BDE A.C. CAN. F.A.’. The reverse of the 1914-15 Star is correctly impressed with, ‘41806 Gnr. R.N. HICKSON, CAN. FD. ART:’ The rim of the 1914-1918 War Medal is correctly impressed with, ‘LIEUT. R.N. HICKSON’.
