Antique novelty Extending Pencil

unmarked ( 100% certain by S.Mordan ) silver novelty Extending Pencil Highest quality

Modelled in the form of a fish with superb hand engraved details. It is a compendium having a whistle a quill trimmer and a button hook and a pencil. Fully hallmarked for Sterling Silver date letter F in a shield for 1881 and assay marked for London and retailers mark W.T for William Thornhill who retailed for Sampson Mordan. It also has a date lozenge for the 28 th November 1883 parcel 22 which is a lovely touch.

Rare Antique Propelling Pencil is perfect museum quality. Slight gold gilt wash left all over body which makes it look even more special.

Material: hallmarked silver

Condition Report: Perfect museum worthy condition for its age and type, there are light surface marks. I can see no evidence of alteration or repair. I have left the item uncleaned as I have found it. It would polish up to a bright shine if you wanted to. It does have the original V.S very soft lead.

This is as good as it get folks, one for the serious collector. This is the pinnacle of pencil collecting. A full period tube of leads to keep you going for a while, who else offers this complete service?
