 Half Leather in brown half-calf over marbled boards with matching endpapers; raised bands with burgundy and black labels, with decorations stamped in blind.

Frontispiece portrait of Israel Acrelius.  History of the settlement of Wilmington followed by the author's recollections of the town. With a lengthy section on the Gilpins and their papermill and some notes on printers and booksellers.

 This piece is an interesting step back in time. Ready for a new collector's home.

Acceptable to Good.

Shelf and handling wear to cover and binding, with general signs of previous use.

 The covers are scuffed and soiled, with some edge-wear and rubbing to the corners and spine-ends. The inside content is with some foxing and marking.

Cosmetic condition is as clearly and accurately shown in the high-definition pictures provided.
