About the M42-PL Metal adapter
The Adapter allows using some Soviet Lenses such as Helios 44-2, Industar 50-2, Jupiter-11 and some others lenses with Arri PL Mount Cameras. But, not every lens will fit it since it is necessary to recess the adapter into Arri PL mount to match FFD (to allow infinity focus). So, you'll be able to install any lens that is narrow enough in rear part - less than 53mm diameter.
The adapter is made of anodized aluminium.
