Up for sale is a pressed glass covered compote or pedestal jar.  The pattern features a band of scrolled ovals and circles with swirls and stars.

The compote stands 11 inches to the top of the lid's handle. The mouth of the base measures 7 inches in diameter.  The base measures 4 3/8 inches in diameter.

This vintage piece is in good used condition with no cracks.  There is a cluster of chips on the inside lip of the lid as seen in the photos.
