BETSY ROSS CHARACTER JUG

Up for sale I have this wonderful Betsy Ross character jug. This hand-made and hand-decorated jug was commissioned by Pascoe and Co. and is from their American Patriot Series. The artist was Peggy Davies and it was issued in a very limited edition of no more than 250. I believe it was made by Royal Doulton.

The character jug is approx. 19cm high and is in excellent all-round condition with no chips, cracks or damage. It comes with the original certificate (which is a little curled) and is 1st quality (i do not have the box). It is fully stamped underneath (see photo). I have only added the extra photos to show some of the usual dots, pimples and dimples in the paint finish

A great example of a scarce, unusual jug.
