Set within an ornate border with inset view of Chatsworth, the Peak Cavern, Matlock and All Saints Derby and embellished with coats of arms. Attractive well executed hand coloring. Colors bright. Description ; County of Derbyshire 1843 by Thomas Moule (b.1784-d.1851) An attractively colored map of Derbyshire. This c1843 map edition was originally published in the Rev. James Barclay’s ‘ Complete and Universal English Dictionary ’. A very detailed quality print of the county of Derbyshire from the original steel engraved map.

UNCLEANED. 


CONDITION EXTREMELY FINE THROUGHOUT WITH THE KRAFT PAPER 

LINER SLIGHTLY TORN IN ITS ORIGINAL POST WW1 FRAME UNDER GLASS. A SMALL NICK IN THE WOOD ON THE LEFT EDGE ON THE FRAMES FACE.
