WIRELESS WORLD
The Practical Radio Journal
March 23rd, 1934 - No 760, Vol XXXIV, No 12

The Wireless World newspapers from the 1930s provide a wonderful insight into the early days of Cathode Ray Television and the popular interest in radios and electronics. The role of the BBC and foreign broadcasts are covered. Fascinating to study, these magazines provide information on some very rare models of Radio and TV apparatus. Finally the advertisements are great too!

In this issue:
  • A New Receiving System - Single Control Tuning over 200-2000 metres without switching or ganging by W. T. Cocking
  • The Everyman Battery Super - Construction Details and Initial Adjustments
  • In Support of High Power by M. G. Scroggie
  • What’s New in German Radio - Leipzig Fair, which was opened by Dr Goebbels, Minister for Propaganda!
  • The Triode Pentode - a new frequency changer with interesting advantages
  • Ossicaide Public Address System

The magazine measures approximately 32 x 24 cm, with pages 195 - 212, plus many additional pages of advertisments

The Foreign Programmes section not present

Condition:
This second-hand magazine is in good vintage condition - the staples have rusted making the pages loose, the cover is a grubby and has a bit of damage in the corner and the paper is browned with some spotting and fragile. On the plus side, the pages are all readable and flat. The magazine pictured below is the one you will receive.
