WIRELESS WORLD
The Practical Radio Journal
March 29th, 1935 - No 813, Vol XXXVI, No13

The Wireless World newspapers from the 1930s provide a wonderful insight into the early days of Cathode Ray Television and the popular interest in radios and electronics. The role of the BBC and foreign broadcasts are covered. Fascinating to study, these magazines provide information on some very rare models of Radio and TV apparatus. Finally the advertisements are great too!

In this issue:
  • Loud Speaker Response Curves
  • Music From Paper Tape - New Selenophone Machine Used for Broadcasting
  • The Permanent Magnet Industry - Sheffield’s Decade of Research and Progress
  • Volume Control at the Loud Speaker - Choosing the Correct Resistance
  • Some Representative Loud Speakers and their Curves - Correlating Measurements with Performance as Judged by Ear
  • The Cathode Ray - A Simplified Explanation
  • Valve Diagrams for Loud Speaker Loads - Working Characteristics of the Output Stage
  • Foundations of Wireless - Part 16: The Single-Valve Set

The magazine measures approximately 32 x 24 cm, with pages 305 - 330, plus many additional pages of advertisments

Condition:
This second-hand magazine is in good vintage condition - the staples have rusted making the pages loose, the cover is a grubby and the paper is browned with some spotting and fragile. On the plus side, the pages are all readable and flat. The magazine pictured below is the one you will receive.
