I find the best way to attach these to a garment is to position your patch in the correct position on the garment, then lay a teatowel or thin cloth over the top of the patch (just to stop any chance of residue from the iron transferring to the patch or garment). Move a hot iron over and around the patch for 30 seconds or so. Let cool, then check adhesion. Iron again if required. For total security, sew around the edge of the patch.
