Up for sale is a very rare antique 19th century bicycle Parabolic oil lamp by G.J. Mfg. & Co Chicago.
This lovely piece features a circular window in the front with beveled edge clear and red glass windows on the sides.
One of the windows opens and is spring loaded, there is a rich adjustment knob on the side along with a match hole window.
The bottom reservoir has an adjustable wick and comes off of the body but has an antique brass plug that seams to be a marriage.
It has its original manufacture badge on the top and has a nice patna from age.
It measures 5 1/4 inches tall by 4 inches wide and 2 3/4 inches back to front.
There is a cracks to the circular window and a chip to the side window.
It has some dings, and paint loss as seen in photos.
