This is a killer example of Gibson's earliest attempt to make proper vintage '59 Reissues as they started making better guitars across the board. Its Cherry'burst finish is quite lovely over a nicely figured maple top. Its see-thru cherry red finish on the back, sizes & neck has some play time. She's sporting 2 pat.# stamped Tim Shaw pickups, original pots w/a nice pickgard, tun-a-matic bridge & stop tailpiece. Its Kluson Tuners hold tune well. At this time Gibson was bitched at thru the 70's for using 2 piece sandwiched bodies, but this one having an early solid 1 piece mahog body w/a great feeling 3 piece mahog neck. She's truly excellent & comes w/a nice original Brown hard case.
