Early S Kirk & Son 11 oz Coin Silver Salt Cellar 1846 - 1861

     A pair of early salt dishes by Kirk, in their Repousse' pattern.  The workmanship and the "11 ounces" mark dates them between 1846 and 1861.  This particular pair of salts has a very unusual rim edge, in a design variation of the gadroon border."

Measures ~ 2" diameter x 1 1/2" high

Overall excellent condition ... museum quality.
