Up for sale is an exceedingly rare antique 18th century handmade French pewter desk inkwell.
It's made by hand out of thick pewter into a gorgeous skirted silhouette and has acquired a lovely patina from age.
It features a domed lid on the top that opens and has a pivoting ashtray inside.
It is in good antique condition and measures 6 1/8 inches wide by 3 inches tall.
There are some dents to the pewter.
