Balanced or Stereo, Patch Cable

2 Core and Screen, Silver and UPOFC Wire Core, UPOFC Wire Screen

Van Damme classic XKE Pro-Patch cable has a low overall diameter of 4.85 mm, 1.15mm thinner than the XKE Microphone cable. The UPOFC (Ultra Pure Oxygen Free Copper) wire ensures the signals integrity and its tightly packed construction ensures no compromise when reducing its overall diameter. This cable looks and works extremely well with stereo mini jack to stereo mini Jack cables. This cable is used extensively by ‘Abbey Road Studios’ and the ‘BBC’

2 Core and Screen relates to the amount of carrier signals inside the cable, in this case three. This is a balanced or stereo cable. The 2 cores are the signal carriers and the screen is the ground/shield

Please contact our Technical Team for advice prior to ordering if you are unsure about your requirements. Our technical advice is insured by a £4million public liability insurance

All of our manufactured products are electrically tested before dispatch. We pressure test for short circuit, continuity and insulation resistance. Due to the nature and complexity of what we do there was no single tester available on the market to accommodate all of our needs so we decided to build all of our own testing equipment! Our testers go way and beyond what is normally offered, ensuring quality of sound and reliability

All AC mains products conform to BS 7671 wiring regulations and are tested by qualified technicians trained to City & Guilds 2377 standards

We take waste and our impact on the environment very seriously. All of our plastic and cardboard waste is separated and collected on a monthly basis. Empty cable reels are returned to suppliers to be re-used and we even go as far as having a compost bin in our kitchen. We try to keep packaging to a minimum and try to re-use packaging materials where possible, so please do not be upset if your order arrives in a second-hand box! Please keep your bubble wrap for Christmas and re-use boxes where you can. If you wish to return unwanted cable and connectors then please do so, we are happy to recycle them on your behalf
