It is a beautiful handmade rosary of Mother of Pearl (Abalone Shell), made in Jerusalem and marked so on the reverse of the crucifix.

The rosary measures 21” long with oval polished translucent mother of pearl beads, including the heart shaped center medal and the 1 1/2” crucifix with tiny silver figure of Christ separately attached on its front. The rosary comes with a sheer pink holding pouch with silk ribbon drawstrings, and a holy card from Jerusalem which has attached on the front a tiny photo image of the Christ Child surrounded by pressed flowers from the Holy Land.

The rosary is circa 1960s/70s in age and the items included are graded in  Very Fine condition- obtained from an old Catholic parish inventory from a trip by a preist to to Palestine many years ago.
