Condition: Good (G)

Text block clean with no writing, light toning, and sporadic and minor foxing. Very minor wear to spine. Both boards attached with minor wear to joints and hinges. Minor partial tear to the front hinge. Minor partial crack to the rear joint. Shelf wear. Shelf lean. Minor marks, scuffing and wear to boards. Minor damage to corners. Pen inscription on preliminary page dated 1875. Newspaper clipping attached to preliminary page; glue marks have seeped to the other side. Some very minor tears can be seen very sporadically throughout text block. Tape repair to pages 19/20, 235/236, and 29/30 (the second page with this numbering, appearing in the rear).
