Coppell TV Repair LLC offers a repair kit for a common problem we have seen develop in Samsung UN50NU6900F, UN50NU6950F, UN55NU6900F and other models based on PCB KANT-SU (NU7090), which can be found printed on the PCB itself.

"Repair kit" refers to a number number of electronic components (see below) and NOT a replacement board; those components need to be replaced on the board, which requires soldering skills and experience in electronic repairs (again see below).


Failure symptoms

Below are symptoms for two different failures and more reliable symptoms; the two failures are NOT usually happening at the same time.
  • TV dead, main fuse FP801S open, CP810 and/or CP813 burned and lots of smoke around.

If your board does NOT have those components bad then this repair kit is NOT going to help. In such case you may consider our board repair service or sale/trade-in (if available).

Kit contents

Brand new replacement components for components labeled FP801S, CP810, CP813, QP801CS, ICP801 and RP813.

IC801 rarely needs to be replaced and RP613 is usually only needed when the original one is mistakenly ripped off while cleaning the silicone around QP801CS.

Other components may be added over time if we see other common failures in the board.

If you receive more components than the above please do not hesitate to ask what they are for.


Difficulty level

Medium and above due to mini SMD resistor R7820. Generic soldering equipment should allow doing the job, air solder is recommended for SMD.

Patience and attention are always recommended.

Improper handling may cause additional damage. If you are not certain you can undertake the service consider using our repair services instead.


Repair service offered: Yes. We offer board repair service for this board. If you use our repair service you do NOT need to buy the repair kit - the two are separate and alternate offerings.
 
WARRANTY CONDITIONS

Coppell TV Repair LLC does not guarantee that this kit will resolve the problem in your board and your TV.

The kit is offered based on experience and technical information available to us at the date of publishing of this listing and known to be more or less common for the listed models.

As every failure can be unique so can be every repair task.

In addition, while giving the repair task a rough classification in terms of difficulty, Coppell TV Repair cannot evaluate each individual's qualities to perform the job or prevent operational errors even from skilled technicians.

As such, no warranty is offered on this product.

If you would like warranty please see if a REPAIR SERVICE is offered instead of a kit. Unless otherwise noted all our repair services do come with a standard 90 days warranty.
