Vintage Rare 11cm Ammonite Cephalopod Fossil in 17cm Polished Stone Mineral Specimen

A stunning ammonite fossil in stone that has a highly polished surface, it looks stunning and has wear commensurate with age, one edge of the stone has been shaped to have a flat edge so it can stand upright when leaned against against a wall

It measures approx 17cm high by 17.5cm wide by 2.8cm thick, the fossil measures approximately 11cm long, it weighs approx 844 grammes
