Southwestern Style Leather Braided Choker & Mixed Metals Statement Pendant

This choker and pendant were previously owned and worn and show some signs of age and use.  But it is in good, wearable condition and should last several more decades, if not generations.  The leather braided choker is made of an adjustable and springy magnetic metal, wrapped with a good quality black leather braid.  The large southwestern style statement pendant is firmly and permanently attached to the choker with three magnetic metal rings.  The pendant itself is not reactive to a strong magnet.  It is silver-tone and appears to be made of a mix of Nickel, Zinc and other metals, but that's just my guess.  It is NOT Sterling and does Not appear to have any Silver content to speak of.

The southwestern-style design on the front of the pendant appears to be cast into the metal and then painted or treated with black or other dark contrasting color to highlight the design.  Parts of the pendant were then colored with what appears to be poly or resin based colors.  It gives the visual impression of colored stone or shell inlay.  Red, purple, light green and turquoise colors were applied.  See photos for more detail.

This piece should be considered as fashion jewelry.  It is not authentic Native American and is not made of any precious metals or stones.  It is a fun, vibrant and bold statement piece incorporating a southwestern style design and is made of heavy, durable and attractive materials.
