These vintage Time magazines are a wonderful resource of news and contemporary thought - giving insight to the news, politics and current affairs of the world. There are articles on Medicine, Religion, Art, Science, Law, Music, Education, Cinema, Theatre, Show Business and all sorts of other subjects. Famously the Time’s cover pictures are fantastic ‘works of art’ and the adverts are great!  Additionally as these issues are the Atlantic Overseas Editions, there is a good focus on British and European news, plus coverage of India, Middle East and Africa.

In this issue:
  • Henry Cabot Lodge Jr
  • Norman Macrae - A Letter from the Publisher
  • Abraham Teitelbaum
  • War in Asia - US War Casualties - Korean Truce
  • One Man’s Look at Russia by John Lindsay Eric Smith
  • Theater: Nina by Samuel Taylor adapted from Andre Roussin with Gloria Swanson, Alan Webb, David Niven; The Constant Wife by Somerset Maugham with Katharine Cornell, Grace George
  • Science: Willard Custer - Custer Channel Wing
  • Sport: Harry Hopman
  • Music: Eugene Conley; Charles G Dawes
  • Mark Goodson & Bill Todman
  • Art: Salvador Dali - Christ of St John of the Cross - First London Show in 15 years - short article with picture

Condition: The magazine is in very good condition, showing light reading wear and some minor creasing to the covers, there is a little bit of damage to the margin of a couple of internal pages - this does not affect the readability of the magazine. Given that the magazine is over 60 years old, its condition is very good, but not perfect! The magazine pictured below is the one you will receive.

I accept returns, and if you’d like any further information, just ask!
